Many a times, I have heard people speaking positive, trying all means to stay positive regardless of what surrounds them, and I noticed it is very easy to keep a positive confession when all things seem to be favourable.
The same people will change their confession in times of crisis. When they are hard pressed left, right, and center. They lose their confession and fall back to their old nature.
In such times, your faith is being tested, have you been well grounded in the Lord? Does your faith waver when you see the storms in life? Do you still hold onto your confession? Testations will come to every believer. The Bible says, “Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried” (Daniel 12:10). “The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but Jehovah tries the hearts” (Proverbs 17:3). How have you guarded your heart in such times that you never saw coming?
An example of one who has had a headache for over 5 days, but everyday, they confess victory over the headache on day one, day two, day three, and if it persists, such a one will lose their patience, and before you know it, their confession will have changed why? Because they feel they have believed enough but dont see results. It is not quantified in the bible that after believing for this long, you are free to change confession and do otherwise. The bible says, “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Mathew 24:13.
Our only answer is found in seeking God who is the author of all seasons. He knows what tomorrow brings, and since we are one with God, we also know what He knows. He reveals all to those who wait on Him.
Hallelujah!
