Many a times we find it hard to keep quiet about our testations, pains, sufferings. It is said a problem shared is a problem half solved, that is the wisdom of the world and not from our heavenly Father.
Take a look at Job and what he suffered, Job 3:25-26 (Amp). “For the thing which I greatly fear comes upon me, and that of which I am afraid befalls me. I was not or am not at ease, nor had I or have I rest, nor was I or am I quiet, yet trouble came and still comes [upon me].“

Job never kept quiet about his troubles, he never had rest too, he was not at ease, he always talked about what befell him and the more he talked about them, the more they magnified. That shouldn’t be the life of a believer.
When you have confidence in the Lord, regardless of the many testations that come your way, you will have that inner strength to hold on, you will have the grace to be silent about them, the more you talk about your troubles, the more they look big before you, and the more pain.
It is good to have someone you confide in but it is a terrible thing to confide in everyone you think cares to listen to you regardless of what you say. It takes maturity for a christian to understand the power that is in ‘Silence‘. It means your confidence is only found in God and not outside that.
Jesus suffered alot of pain during His time on earth, He was tortured, spat on, abused, ridiculed, but in all this He never said a word. Isaiah 53:7 “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
Jesus should be our living example. Let’s master the art of Silence. Jesus did it, He lives in us, the same Spirit that works in Him also works in us. Our true confidence is found in God and not outside God.
Hallelujah!
